Before bidding on or purchasing a used car at an auction, it is very important to research the make and model of the vehicle, and to inspect it properly . That way, you will be able to make a proper, education, and informed evaluation of the merits and likely problems with the vehicle, and whether the car is worth the money.

Conversely, if you attend an auction, the last thing you want to do is get carried away by excitement on the "heat of the moment", and starting bidding on vehicles which you have neither researched or inspected. If you do that, there's a very good chance that you will get stuck with a poor quality car, or even a lemon, that is not worth anything like the price that you paid for it.
